In a big-bang edition of the high-achieving variety show, Robin gathers boffins and buffoons for an evening overflowing with affectionate joy towards life beyond the stars and all things scientific and massive. Joining Robin is Large Hadron Collider key-holder, co-host of BBC Radio 4’s The Infinite Monkey Cage and erstwhile D:Ream keyboardist professor Brian Cox. Toby Hadoke of Moths Ate My Dr Who Scarf will be talking of space and Dr Who, adn Josie Long will be marvelling at all the planets, er, marvels. With Helen Keen’s stand-up science-class It Is Rocket Science, Rich Sandling talking of space in films and performing rehearsed readings of bad sci-fi, Martin Austwick singing songs of space, and more last minute treats.
