Why do we say sorry? And how do we say it like we really mean it? hosts an intimate round table performance with a small, invited audience, sifting the genuine from the insincere, drawing on her personal experiences as a serial apologist in emotionally valiant and surprising ways. Secret notes, screened calls and wine are built into an endearing and thought-provoking show on social remorse and language.

 

Hannah Jane Walker is a performance poet, visual artist, project manager and serial apologist. She studied literature at UEA and a poetry MA in Newcastle and was short listed for the Bridport in 2009.  She has performed at events, festivals and residencies around the country including Latitude, Truck, Norfolk & Norwich Festival and Shunt.  Hannah is a socialiser, experimentor and maker of nests. was presented at Edinburgh 2010 as part of Forest Fringe.
