SCRABBLE SUNDAY

Our friends from Scrabble Sunday host a Word Festival special. An afternoon of laid-back word-battle in East London’s best boardgaming pub. We bring the boards (lovely vintage, spinny twirly, junior and even giant are amongst our array), you bring the vocab. Play as you like: score, or don’t score; come on your own and let us fix you up with opponents, or come as groups of friends and invent new versions such as Scraboo. With official Scrabble Dictonary keepers floating around to assist in word disputes and a pile of freshly baked cakes and biscuits to hand out to Scrabblers,  whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned pro.
